The Narrow Road: Few there be that find it
Walking Where Few Dare to Go
“Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”
— Matthew 7:13–14, KJV
There’s a reason Jesus said “few there be that find it.”
The road to life isn’t well-lit, well-funded, or well-populated.
It’s narrow. It’s costly. And it stands in direct contrast to the wide path celebrated by the world—and much of modern religion.
In a time when comfort is idolized and compromise is normalized, Lets exposes the truth:
The Gospel is not a wide gate. It is a narrow path, and only the remnant walk it.
✅ The Reality Few Preach
The Western Church has peddled a version of Christianity that costs little and demands nothing:
-
"Say a prayer and you're saved."
-
"Jesus accepts you just as you are."
-
"No need to change. Just believe."
But Jesus warned us of another gospel, another version of Himself that would deceive the masses.
“Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.”
— Matthew 7:21, KJV
Let that sink in: They knew His name, but He did not know them (Matthew 7:23). Why?
Because they practiced lawlessness—a life void of obedience, repentance, or the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22–24).
π₯ What the Narrow Road Really Looks Like
The narrow road isn’t just about rejecting obvious sin. It’s about choosing radical alignment with God’s Word.
“He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.”
— 1 John 2:4, KJV
Walking the Narrow Road Means:
-
✝️ Denying self (Luke 9:23)
-
π Obeying God’s commandments—including the Sabbath and His appointed Feasts (Leviticus 23)
-
π₯ Rejecting man-made religion and embracing covenant
-
π Letting go of sin and tradition (Mark 7:7–9)
-
π€ Walking in love, justice, and humility (Micah 6:8)
-
π Choosing obedience over comfort
-
πͺ Following Jesus even when you’re hated or misunderstood (John 15:18–20)
It’s personal. It’s unpopular. It’s powerful. And it’s liberating.
π« The Broad Road: A Counterfeit Gospel
“There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.”
— Proverbs 14:12, KJV
The broad road looks spiritual. It uses the name of Jesus. It gathers crowds. But it leads to destruction.
It invites people to blend in with Babylon, not come out of it (Revelation 18:4).
It offers salvation without submission, and grace without transformation.
But the true Gospel transforms lives. It leads to repentance, fruitfulness, and holiness.
π A Call to the Remnant
You don’t need to be perfect to walk this road. But you must be willing.
Willing to walk away from Babylon. Willing to lose popularity.
Willing to walk alone, if necessary. Because Jesus walks this road—and He is worth it.
“Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.”
— 2 Timothy 3:12, KJV
Don’t follow the crowd. Follow the Shepherd.
The Good Shepherd leads His sheep, not into comfort, but into truth (John 10:27).
π️ A Call to Repentance
“Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out...”
— Acts 3:19, KJV
-
If you’ve been walking the broad road, turn back today.
-
If you’ve settled for cheap grace, seek true surrender.
-
If you’ve known about Jesus, but never followed Him, today is the day to begin.
