Give Me Your Weaknesses: A Prophetic Call to Surrender, Strength, and Resurrection Power

“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness...”

2 Corinthians 12:9 (KJV)

Here's a Truth we so often forget in the busyness of self-effort: God is not asking for your strength. He is asking for your weakness.

We live in a world intoxicated with self-reliance, where the culture preaches that failure is unacceptable and brokenness is shameful. But the Gospel tells a different story. The Word of the Lord came, saying:

“Give me your weaknesses.”

This is not the plea of a tyrant demanding perfection, but the invitation of a loving Father who already paid the price to redeem your soul. The world says to fix yourself. God says focus on Me.

“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith...”
Hebrews 12:2 (KJV)

The Cross: Where Weakness Met Power

“Remember the price I paid to purchase your soul?”

The Father gave His Son for you. Jesus bore your weakness, your shame, your guilt, and your failures. He took the full weight of your sin and nailed it to the cross.

“Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross.”
Colossians 2:14 (KJV)

In this powerful act, God didn’t just cover your sin. He erased it.

“He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.”
Psalm 103:10-11 (KJV)

The arrest warrant that once stood against you has been canceled. The stains on your soul have been wiped away. The old life you once knew in Adam has been permanently crucified.

When You Feel Distant, Remember His Love

“When you feel that I am distant, bathe your heart once again in my love.”

There is a deception sweeping across the church in this hour  the lie that God withdraws when we are weak. But this is not biblical.

“I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”
Hebrews 13:5 (KJV)

When you feel distant, it’s not because God has moved. It’s because your focus has. He calls you back  not to shame you  but to restore you. He knows the movements of your heart. He sees your secret struggles. He is stirred by your desire to love Him, even when you feel unworthy.

“Whom having not seen, ye love...”
1 Peter 1:8 (KJV)

Set Your Heart Above, Not on Your Shortcomings

We are in the final hours of human history. Wars rage, economies shake, deception increases, and the love of many is growing cold. And yet, in this very hour, God is calling His remnant not to strive in human strength, but to abide in His love and resurrection power.

“If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above...”
Colossians 3:1 (KJV)

This is how we endure. Not by gritting our teeth but by surrendering our fears. Not by fixing ourselves, but by fixing our gaze.

The Spirit is pouring out greater measures of love and holiness  not upon the proud, but upon the humble who come with open hands and honest hearts.

A Call to Repentance

This is a holy invitation to return to the Lord  to trade your weariness for rest, your striving for surrender. But repentance is not merely sorrow for failure. It is a turning of the heart, a realignment with the truth that Jesus is enough.

“Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out...”
Acts 3:19 (KJV)

Do not harden your heart in this hour. Time is short. The Judge stands at the door.

The Gospel of Salvation

All have sinned.

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”
Romans 3:23 (KJV)

Sin brings death.

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Romans 6:23 (KJV)

Jesus paid the price.

“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Romans 5:8 (KJV)

Confess and believe.

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
Romans 10:9 (KJV)

Conclusion

You are not disqualified by your weakness. You are invited because of it. He is not asking for your strength. He’s asking for your surrender.

Come to Him now. Lay it all down. The cross has already made a way. You are fully known, deeply loved, and completely forgiven.

Give Him your weakness  and He will give you life.
