Do You Love Me? A Call to Intimate Obedience in the Last Days
Do you love Me, My child? Is there a passion in your heart this day to do My will and follow My paths?
This is the question that echoes from the throne of God in every generation. It is the same question the risen Christ asked Peter three times on the shores of Galilee: “Lovest thou me?” (John 21:15–17 KJV). He did not ask, Are you ready to preach? or Will you be perfect from now on? but simply, Do you love Me?
This is the heart of discipleship. It is not rooted in performance, ministry titles, or social influence. It is rooted in love. And that love births obedience.
Heaven Responds to a Heart Set on God
All of heaven comes to your aid when you set your heart to pursue Me.
This divine truth is echoed in Scripture:
For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him.
2 Chronicles 16:9 (KJV)
When we genuinely set our hearts toward God, heaven mobilizes. Angels are dispatched. Doors open. Strength is poured out. The Lord Himself becomes our Defender and our Shepherd.
In these prophetic times, when chaos surrounds us and culture pushes us to chase vanity, it is critical to remember that God is after hearts, not hype.
God’s Measurement is Love, Not Influence
Many on earth will value your life by what you do, your influence, your possessions, your ministry. But I value you and measure you by My love.
Our culture idolizes productivity. Social media highlights metrics, followings, and platforms. But the Kingdom of God measures success by love.
Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
1 Corinthians 13:1 (KJV)
By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
John 13:35 (KJV)
If we preach truth but lack love, we’ve missed Christ. If we serve the poor but seek applause, we’ve missed the heart of God. The measurement of heaven is love flowing from communion with the Savior.
The Call to Follow: Simple Yet Transforming
All that I ask of you is what I asked of My servant Matthew, “Come, follow Me.”
When Jesus called Matthew, a tax collector hated by his own people, He didn't first ask him to change or prove himself. He said, “Follow me.”
And he saith unto him, Follow me. And he arose, and followed him.
Matthew 9:9 (KJV)
The same call echoes today. God is not looking for experts. He is looking for followers. And as we walk with Him, He transforms us from the inside out.
Transformation Begins with Motive
The motives of your heart are changed from living for yourself to living for My glory and knowing My love.
This is the essence of repentance a turning of the heart from self toward God.
Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts.
Psalm 139:23 (KJV)
True revival begins not with louder music or larger crowds but with cleansed motives. In a time when even ministry can become a form of self-promotion, the Holy Spirit is purifying hearts to live for His glory alone.
Guidance as a Fruit of Love
My guidance is an expression of My love... I lead you into pleasant paths and go before you.
Many ask for direction, but few understand that divine guidance is born from divine intimacy. God leads those who love Him because love opens ears.
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Proverbs 3:5–6 (KJV)
The Lord doesn’t merely give instructions. He leads because He loves. And He delights in guiding His children into places of peace, even amid global unrest.
Prophetic Relevance: Walking with God in a Disoriented World
In today’s fractured world, walking closely with Christ is both a necessity and a testimony. Global systems are shaking from economic collapses and wars to technological overreach and moral confusion.
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 Timothy 3:1 (KJV)
As darkness increases, our light must come from intimacy with Christ. Not from politics. Not from programs. From pursuit. The Church must become known not for its noise, but for its nearness to Jesus.
A Call to Repentance
Beloved, has your love grown cold? Has your heart been pulled into the trap of measuring your worth by what you do instead of whose you are?
The Lord is calling you back not to religious routine, but to relationship. He is calling you to follow Him with a heart ignited by love, not obligation.
Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent.
Revelation 2:4–5 (KJV)
Today is the day to return to your first love.
The Gospel: How to Receive Eternal Life
-
All have sinned.
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.
Romans 3:23 (KJV) -
Sin brings death.
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 6:23 (KJV) -
Jesus paid the price.
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:8 (KJV) -
Confess and believe.
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Romans 10:9 (KJV)
Conclusion: Let Love Lead
God is not calling you to do more. He is calling you to love more. When you love Him, obedience becomes joy. When you follow Him, peace becomes your path. When you surrender to Him, destiny is fulfilled.
The world may value influence. God values intimacy.
Will you follow Him today?
