The Chamber Room of His Glory
Becoming God’s Holy Dwelling Place in a World of Darkness
“Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.”
— Philippians 1:6 (KJV)
I. The Divine Indwelling: You Are His Temple
God does not merely visit His people, He dwells within them. The Holy Spirit does not hover as an external force but abides inside the believer. This truth is foundational to our identity in Christ.
“Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?”
— 1 Corinthians 3:16 (KJV)
When we surrender to the Lordship of Christ, we are not given a partial holiness to build upon ourselves. We are cleansed, consecrated, and filled with the presence of the Living God. The indwelling Spirit is not passive, He actively sanctifies and transforms. His holiness is not earned but received.
II. Holiness Is Not Earned — It Is Embodied
The modern world preaches self-improvement, but the Gospel proclaims spiritual transformation. Holiness is not a human project; it is divine evidence of God’s inhabitation.
“But ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.”
— 1 Corinthians 6:11 (KJV)
You do not climb a ladder to holiness; holiness flows from within, from the Spirit of holiness Himself. It is not our grip on righteousness but His grip on us that makes us pure.
III. The Work God Began — He Will Finish
Many believers feel discouraged by their imperfections. But God never begins a project He does not intend to finish. He has declared that your heart is His chamber room, and He will complete the construction.
“Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.”
— 1 Thessalonians 5:24 (KJV)
The process of sanctification is ongoing, but the promise is sure. What He has washed, He fills. What He fills, He uses. And what He uses, He glorifies.
IV. Strength in Weakness, Joy in Suffering
The world is unraveling, wars rage, moral decay spreads, artificial intelligence threatens to redefine humanity, and spiritual deception increases. In the chaos, God's people are not abandoned. His Spirit strengthens us in weakness and holds us through sorrow.
“My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.”
— 2 Corinthians 12:9 (KJV)
Your suffering is not wasted. The Lord uses it to deepen the roots of righteousness and prune away that which cannot bear eternal fruit. Joy does not come from the absence of pain, but from the presence of God in the midst of it.
V. A Holy People for a Holy King
The days are evil. Lawlessness abounds. The love of many has grown cold. But God is raising up a remnant, a people who live as His temple, not just speak of it.
“But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation.”
— 1 Peter 1:15 (KJV)
Holiness is not optional for the believer; it is the evidence of true salvation. It is not legalism, but love. It is not burdensome, but beautiful. It is not self-manufactured, but Spirit-produced.
VI. The Unveiling of Christ Is Near
The Apostle Paul prayed for believers to be found “pure and without offense until the day of Christ” (Philippians 1:10). The day of His unveiling is near. The signs are clear: global unrest, spiritual confusion, economic instability, and the rapid rise of wickedness all testify that time is short.
Will Christ find a people filled with His Spirit or distracted by the world? Will He find temples of glory or vessels of compromise?
VII. A Final Plea: Return to the King
Child of God, this is the hour to be filled again. To allow His Spirit to take full possession. Do not fear the shaking, let it drive you deeper into Him. Holiness is not a standard to strive for; it is a Person who now lives in you.
Let Him reign. Let Him fill. Let Him finish the beautiful work He began.
“Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised).”
— Hebrews 10:23 (KJV)
Call to Repentance
This holy indwelling is not for the world at large, it is for those who have turned from sin and trusted in Christ. If you have not surrendered to Him, do not wait.
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”
— Romans 3:23 (KJV)
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
— Romans 6:23 (KJV)
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
— Romans 5:8 (KJV)
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
— Romans 10:9 (KJV)
Turn from your sin today. Surrender to Jesus. Let Him cleanse you, fill you, and make you holy, for the glory of His Name and the preparation of His bride.
Conclusion:
You were not called to survive the end times, you were called to shine through them. As the world trembles, let your life testify: “I am the temple of the Living God.” Let His glory fill you anew. Let your heart become the chamber room of His eternal majesty. He has begun the work and He will complete it.
