The Coming Outpouring: Power, Purity, and the Preparation of the Bride

I. The Winds of God and the Shaking of Nations

Scripture declares that before God manifests His glory, He often shakes what can be shaken. The Lord spoke through Haggai saying:

“For thus saith the Lord of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land; And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come.”
Haggai 2:6–7 (KJV)

We are witnessing this shaking in real time. Political structures are collapsing, economies are faltering, and once-trusted institutions are being exposed for corruption. The “winds” of God are blowing to strip away every foundation built on pride and human wisdom.

Jesus warned of this distinction between the structures of man and the kingdom of God:

“Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.”
Matthew 15:13 (KJV)

When the Lord said, “The more confidence you place in the structures of men, the more disappointment will come,” He was describing the judgment of misplaced trust. The idols of governments, corporations, and false religion are being toppled so that the Church’s faith might rest not in human power, but in the demonstration of the Spirit.

“That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.”
1 Corinthians 2:5 (KJV)

This shaking is not destruction, it is divine preparation. God is dismantling what is false to reveal what is eternal.

II. The Age of Miracles and the Return of Apostolic Power

We are entering an era that mirrors the book of Acts, where the supernatural will become the natural expression of those walking in obedience and purity. The Lord promised that in the last days, His Spirit would move with undeniable power:

“And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh... and they shall prophesy.”
Acts 2:17 (KJV)

While many have dismissed miracles as belonging to a bygone era, the Lord is reviving apostolic faith in His end-time Church. Healings, prophetic utterances, and deliverance will be tools of evangelism in a world desperate for truth.

This outpouring, however, will not come through pride or human ambition, but through surrendered vessels. The Lord said, “I will speak My words through you, and I will release My power through you.” The Church must once again depend fully on the Spirit, not on strategy, charisma, or technology.

As darkness increases globally, through wars, digital control systems, and moral collapse, the true Body of Christ will rise in light. Isaiah foresaw this time:

“For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.”
Isaiah 60:2 (KJV)

The days ahead will be marked by both judgment and glory, an unprecedented dual move where the same power that exposes sin will empower the saints.

III. The Bridegroom Is Coming

The Lord’s call to “trim your lamps” directly echoes Jesus’ parable of the ten virgins:

“Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom... And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.”
Matthew 25:1–2 (KJV)

In this prophetic picture, the oil represents intimacy with the Holy Spirit, the flame of continual fellowship that keeps believers spiritually alert. The wise virgins were prepared when the midnight cry came; the foolish were not.

The “Bridegroom” coming in this message is both a warning and a promise. The Church must purify herself in readiness for the return of Christ:

“And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.”
Revelation 19:8 (KJV)

We are living in the midnight hour of human history. The signs of His coming surround us, global unrest, natural disasters, wars in Israel and the Middle East, moral lawlessness, and the rise of global governance that foreshadows the Antichrist system. Yet in the midst of this chaos, the Bridegroom calls His Church to awaken, trim her lamp, and prepare for glory.

IV. The Narrow Way and the Call to Purity

The Lord’s command, “Leave all that hinders you behind... the way is straight and the door is narrow,” mirrors Christ’s teaching in Matthew 7:14 (KJV):

“Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”

The modern Church often seeks comfort over consecration and acceptance over holiness. But the path to power always runs through purity. The Lord is calling His Bride to separate from compromise, worldliness, and fear, and to walk in the fire of sanctification.

“Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.”
Hebrews 12:14 (KJV)

This purification is not legalism, it is preparation. The spotless Bride is not self-righteous but Spirit-refined. Her garments are washed in the blood of the Lamb and made radiant by obedience.

As deception spreads globally, from false teachers to political saviors, the Lord is raising up a people clothed not in culture, but in covenant.

V. The Unveiling of Power and the End-Time Harvest

The prophetic word declares, “I will draw untold millions to Myself in these days of power.” This aligns with Jesus’ promise that the gospel will reach every nation before His return:

“And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”
Matthew 24:14 (KJV)

We are witnessing technology enabling the global spread of truth, even as it becomes a tool for censorship and control. Yet God always uses what man means for manipulation to advance His mission. As persecution increases, revival will ignite underground, through dreams, miracles, and the unstoppable power of the Holy Spirit.

The final outpouring of glory will be accompanied by judgment on false religion and worldly systems. Revelation 18 describes Babylon’s collapse, the fall of every human empire built apart from God. The Lord’s wind will not only cleanse the Church but will also expose corruption in governments, media, and the economy.

When He moves, no man-made foundation will stand.

VI. A Call to Repentance and Readiness

Before power can flow, the heart must be cleansed. The Spirit’s call to “come with faith alone” means to strip away the idols of pride, fear, and self-sufficiency. The coming days will divide the Church, not by denomination, but by devotion.

Only those rooted in Christ will stand when the shaking intensifies. As Paul wrote:

“Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.”
2 Timothy 2:19 (KJV)

The power of God will not rest upon the lukewarm, but upon those fully yielded to His will.

VII. The Gospel Call

All have sinned.
• “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” , Romans 3:23 (KJV)

Sin brings death.
• “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” , Romans 6:23 (KJV)

Jesus paid the price.
• “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” , Romans 5:8 (KJV)

Confess and believe.
• “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” , Romans 10:9 (KJV)

Steps to Salvation:

  1. Acknowledge your sin before God.

  2. Repent and turn from your old life.

  3. Believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior.

  4. Receive the Holy Spirit, who seals and empowers you.

  5. Walk daily in faith, holiness, and expectation of His return.

Conclusion

We are living in the threshold of divine fulfillment. The Bridegroom is near, the winds are rising, and the Church is being refined in fire. God’s glory will not flow through unclean vessels but through those purified by repentance and anchored in faith.

Soon, the world will witness both unprecedented darkness and unprecedented light. The Bride of Christ, clothed in righteousness and filled with the Spirit, will shine amid the storm.

Now is the time to prepare. Trim your lamp, fill your vessel with oil, and keep your eyes on the sky. The power of God is coming not just to you, but through you. The age of miracles will once again declare that Jesus Christ is Lord.

“Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.”
Isaiah 60:1 (KJV)

The winds are blowing. The Bridegroom is near. Be ready.
