Soar in the Spirit: The Call of the Refined and Surrendered Servant
I. The Call of Total Surrender
When God calls, He looks for those willing to leave everything behind, not halfway, but wholly surrendered. Isaiah’s response, “Here am I; send me” (Isaiah 6:8, KJV), reflects the posture of a heart fully yielded to divine purpose. True discipleship is not convenient; it is costly. Jesus made this clear:
“If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.”
Luke 9:23 (KJV)
In every generation, God searches for vessels who will not only answer the call but carry His presence. To carry the Cross means dying to comfort, ambition, and control. It means being poured out like a drink offering, emptied of self so that the Spirit may fill completely.
This process often begins in obscurity. Before Elijah stood on Mount Carmel, he was hidden by the brook Cherith (1 Kings 17:3). Before Joseph ruled Egypt, he was refined in the dungeon. Before David sat on the throne, he was tested in caves. Before Jesus began His ministry, He endured forty days in the wilderness.
God does not anoint the untested. He calls, refines, and sends. Those who answer “yes” become His instruments in this prophetic hour, unafraid of the cost because they have already surrendered everything.
II. Refined in Fire: The Path of Preparation
The Lord’s refining fire is not punishment but preparation. Scripture declares:
“Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction.”
Isaiah 48:10 (KJV)
Like precious metal purified in intense heat, the faithful are purified through trials. Every hardship removes impurities, pride, doubt, self-dependence, until only Christ remains.
This spiritual process parallels the work of the blacksmith. The metal is placed on the anvil, hammered, and reheated until it becomes strong and useful. God’s servants experience the same rhythm, broken, shaped, and fortified until they mirror the image of the Son.
Today, the Church is undergoing such refining. Many believers feel pressed, stretched, or stripped of the familiar. Yet this is the work of divine craftsmanship. The Lord is forging a remnant that will stand unshaken amid global shaking.
Jesus said, “Every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit” (John 15:2, KJV). The pruning precedes the power. The crushing releases the oil. The dying births new life.
III. The Eagle Anointing: Rising on the Wind of the Spirit
The prophetic image of the eagle captures the essence of divine elevation. Eagles are not moved by storms, they rise above them, carried by the wind they once feared. God likens His people to such eagles:
“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”
Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)
In these end times, the Spirit is lifting the faithful to new altitudes of revelation and authority. The “wind currents” of the Holy Spirit represent divine direction, supernatural alignment that carries the obedient beyond human limits.
This eagle anointing equips believers to see from above, to discern with spiritual vision what others cannot. It also empowers them to soar by grace, not by striving. As the turbulence of global upheaval increases, wars, moral collapse, economic distress, those anchored in Christ will rise higher, not fall lower.
The modern world is saturated with fear, propaganda, and control systems that weigh heavily on human hearts. Yet, as the Lord declared, “Do not fear the dark.” Darkness only magnifies the brilliance of His light (John 1:5). The same Spirit that hovered over the chaos in Genesis 1 now moves upon His people, igniting them as beacons of truth amid deception.
IV. The Commission to Uproot and Rebuild
When God sends His servants, He does not send them to decorate ruins but to rebuild His Kingdom order. Jeremiah was commissioned in this way:
“See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.”
Jeremiah 1:10 (KJV)
In this prophetic generation, the Lord is raising reformers who carry the same mandate, to expose false systems, challenge corrupt structures, and rebuild according to the heavenly blueprint. This applies both spiritually and practically.
We see this call manifesting today through believers speaking truth in a world of deception, those who expose darkness in politics, economics, and religion with wisdom and boldness. Many will be misunderstood, mocked, and rejected, yet they stand firm because they are sent, not self-appointed.
As the Lord tears down what is counterfeit, He releases divine blueprints for restoration. The builders He sends next will operate in purity and unity, guided by the Spirit rather than human ambition. They will labor not to exalt a denomination or name, but to manifest the Kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven.
V. The Faith That Raises the Dead
True faith does not merely believe for something; it believes through everything. It speaks life to what has died and calls into being what does not yet exist (Romans 4:17).
The Lord is now releasing resurrection power through His surrendered ones, those who have died to pride, fear, and reputation. Through them, He will revive dead faith, restore broken families, and awaken the spiritually asleep.
“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do.”
John 14:12 (KJV)
This prophetic promise is not symbolic, it is literal. As global crises intensify, the Spirit will empower the remnant to perform miraculous acts of compassion and deliverance that testify of Christ’s reality. Healing, provision, and revival will accompany those who walk in bold obedience.
Modern parallels abound: as technology advances and transhumanism blurs the line between man and machine, humanity seeks to manufacture immortality without God. Yet only Jesus offers true resurrection life. He alone transforms ashes into beauty and death into new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17).
VI. Co-Laboring in the Kingdom
To co-labor with Christ is to walk in continuous partnership with Him. Paul described this privilege beautifully:
“For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building.”
1 Corinthians 3:9 (KJV)
Every believer has a divine assignment, a portion of the Father’s will to fulfill. Some are called to speak, others to build, intercede, or heal. Yet all are united under one Head: Christ.
The Lord’s word to His servants today is simple but profound: Rest in Me while you work with Me. The world’s systems reward exhaustion, but the Kingdom flows from rest. As we abide in Him, the fruit manifests naturally.
The Spirit is also assuring many that their intercession for loved ones is not in vain. The prodigals will return. Family members once bound in darkness will become co-laborers in the harvest. God’s timing is perfect, and His promises are certain.
“Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.”
Acts 16:31 (KJV)
VII. A Call to Faith, Trust, and Obedience
The foundation of this prophetic call rests upon three pillars: Faith, Trust, and Obedience.
Faith anchors us when we cannot see.
Trust steadies us when we cannot understand.
Obedience activates what faith believes and what trust sustains.
“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.”
Proverbs 3:5 (KJV)
These three are not passive, they are declarations over the believer’s atmosphere. When spoken daily, they shape reality: Faith! Trust! Obedience!
The Lord is calling His people to live from heaven’s perspective, not earth’s fear. The shaking of nations, economic collapse, and spiritual warfare are not signs of defeat but birth pangs of redemption. The Spirit is propelling the faithful upward, into divine assignments and supernatural encounters that display His glory.
VIII. The Gospel Invitation
All have sinned.
• “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” , Romans 3:23 (KJV)
Sin brings death.
• “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” , Romans 6:23 (KJV)
Jesus paid the price.
• “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” , Romans 5:8 (KJV)
Confess and believe.
• “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” , Romans 10:9 (KJV)
Steps to Salvation:
-
Acknowledge your sin and need for a Savior.
-
Believe that Jesus Christ died and rose again for you.
-
Confess Him as Lord and surrender your life to Him.
-
Walk daily in faith, trust, and obedience.
Conclusion: The Soaring of the Surrendered
God is releasing His refined ones into the earth, those who have said “yes” in the fire, who have carried the Cross, and who have allowed Him to empty and fill them. They are eagles of the Spirit, rising on divine currents to carry His glory into dark places.
Their lives testify that surrender is not loss but transformation. Through faith, trust, and obedience, they will uproot what is false, rebuild what is holy, and shine as lights in the deepening night.
“Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.”
Isaiah 60:1 (KJV)
The world is darkening, but the Bride is awakening. This is the hour to soar. Let every surrendered heart rise with courage and declare:
“Where He goes, I will go. Where He leads, I will follow. For in Him, I live, move, and have my being.”
