God Sees You, Little One
I. The God Who Sees You
The Lord sees the wounds the world cannot. In a time when many are crushed under emotional, spiritual, and mental burdens, God's voice is tender, calling us out of hiding. He knows our pain, and He calls us to come to Him, not to run from Him.
“Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?” Psalm 56:8 (KJV)
God’s omniscience is not distant or cold. It is deeply personal. He knows when we are broken and hiding from our own shame, regret, or fear. Just as He saw Hagar in the wilderness and was called El Roi, the God who sees (Genesis 16:13), He sees us now.
II. Deliverance from Egypt
Bondage is not always physical, it is often spiritual, emotional, or mental. Many today are trapped in Egypt-like seasons: overwhelmed by addictions, bitterness, trauma, or generational patterns. Yet the Lord is still the Deliverer who parts the Red Sea.
“And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.” Exodus 14:13 (KJV)
God desires to lead His people out of spiritual Egypt into the land flowing with milk and honey, a life filled with healing, hope, and holiness. Yet, the path begins with letting go: of bitterness, unforgiveness, and the lies of the enemy.
III. The Bitterness That Binds
One of the most insidious snares Satan uses is bitterness. It masquerades as self-protection but becomes a chain that chokes out peace and joy. Even when we forgive others, many refuse to forgive themselves. The Lord confronts this wound.
“Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled.” Hebrews 12:15 (KJV)
The Spirit of God is drawing hearts to release bitterness and receive healing. Forgiveness is not simply an act toward others, it is a posture toward ourselves and God. Letting go is not weakness; it is warfare.
IV. Healing Through His Wounds
Scripture is clear: healing is not just spiritual, it touches the whole being. The lies that have wounded your heart, your mind, and your identity must be washed away by the truth of who Christ is and what He has done.
“But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5 (KJV)
What was broken can be restored. What was lost can be found. The balm of Gilead is being poured over open wounds, healing trauma and restoring innocence. You are not too far gone. You are not too late. You are seen. You are loved. You are His.
V. A Table in the Wilderness
In the very place of pain, the Lord prepares a table for His children, a table of communion, comfort, and restoration. He does not only rescue; He invites us to dine with Him, to be filled with the peace and joy that this world cannot give.
“Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.” Psalm 23:5 (KJV)
Even in the valley of the shadow of death, we are not alone. He walks with us, speaks peace over us, and leads us into rest.
VI. Your Identity Is in Christ
The world tries to name you according to your pain, but God names you according to your purpose. Your identity is not in your trauma, your past, or your shame. Your identity is in Christ Jesus.
“If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” John 8:36 (KJV)
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” 2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV)
Do not return to the chains He has already broken. Walk in the freedom, joy, and wholeness that is yours in Him.
VII. A Call to Repentance
If you’ve been distant, hiding, or hardened by bitterness, the Lord is calling you near. He is not condemning you. He is rescuing you. Turn away from the lies of the enemy and the sin that so easily entangles. Lay it all at His feet.
“Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.” James 4:8 (KJV)
Repentance is not punishment. It is the doorway to peace.
VIII. The Gospel of Healing and Restoration
All have sinned.
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”
Romans 3:23 (KJV)
Sin brings death.
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Romans 6:23 (KJV)
Jesus paid the price.
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Romans 5:8 (KJV)
Confess and believe.
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
Romans 10:9 (KJV)
Conclusion
The Father is calling His child out of hiding. The chains of Egypt have been broken. The lies of the enemy are being silenced. It is time to believe again, to hope again, to live again.
There is healing for the broken. There is restoration for the weary. There is joy for the crushed in spirit. And it is found not in the world, but in the arms of the Savior who sees you, knows you, and loves you. He has prepared a place for you, will you come?
Let go of the past. Let God restore your future.
You are safe now. You are home.
