A Prophetic Warning: The 70 Martyrs and the Call to Watchfulness and Repentance

The recent beheading of 70 Christians in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) is not just another tragic event—it is a prophetic sign from God, a wake-up call for His people to watch, pray, and prepare. This event aligns with biblical prophecy, the cry of the martyrs, and the unfolding of end-time events.

Revelation 6:9-11 (KJV) – "And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellow servants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled."

🔹 These martyrs are part of this prophecy—their blood cries out to the Lord, signaling that the time of God’s judgment is drawing closer.

Many ask, "Why does God allow His people to suffer?" But the Bible tells us that every person’s days are ordained by God.

Job 14:5 (KJV) – "Seeing his days are determined, the number of his months are with thee, thou hast appointed his bounds that he cannot pass."

🔹 Nothing happens outside of God’s sovereign plan.
🔹 The 70 martyrs have fulfilled their calling, and their sacrifice is a warning to the Church to remain steadfast in faith and prepare for what is coming.

The number 70 in Scripture symbolizes:
✅ Completion (God’s plan unfolding)
✅ Judgment (warning of impending events)
✅ The nations (global impact)
✅ A call to be spiritually awake

Mark 13:33 (KJV) – "Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is."

Luke 21:36 (KJV) – "Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man."

🔹 The number of martyrs is not a coincidence—it is a divine warning to the Church to stay spiritually awake and prepare.

The Holy Spirit led me to Isaiah 18, which describes a land beyond the rivers of Ethiopia.

Isaiah 18:1 (KJV) – "Woe to the land shadowing with wings, which is beyond the rivers of Ethiopia."

Where did this massacre take place? The DRC, which is beyond the rivers of Ethiopia!

🔹 This is a prophetic connection between Africa and the end times.
🔹 God is calling His people to repentance and readiness.

Zephaniah 3:10 Confirms This

Zephaniah 3:10 (KJV) – "From beyond the rivers of Ethiopia my suppliants, even the daughter of my dispersed, shall bring mine offering."

🔹 The African martyrs are bringing an offering of their lives before the Lord.
🔹 This tragedy is a trumpet blast, calling the Church to repentance and revival.

Isaiah 18:3 (KJV) – "All ye inhabitants of the world, and dwellers on the earth, see ye, when he lifteth up an ensign on the mountains; and when he bloweth a trumpet, hear ye."

The Bible is clear: Now is the time to repent and turn to Christ!

Do You Know Jesus?

4️⃣ Salvation is through faith in Christ alone – "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." (Romans 10:9)
