Preparing an alternative explanation for the Rapture; Alien Abduction & The Great Lie
The Rapture: Biblical Truth and the Enemy’s Deception
The Rapture of the Church is one of the most debated topics in Christian eschatology. However, the Bible is clear: there will be a catching away of believers before the great and terrible Day of the Lord. As we see global events aligning with prophecy, it is crucial that we stand firm on the Word of God and reject the deception of the enemy, who seeks to distort biblical truth.
π The Rapture: What Does the Bible Say?
Many claim that the word "rapture" is not in the Bible, but the concept certainly is. The Greek word "harpazo" means to seize, snatch away, or take suddenly, and is the root of our English word Rapture (from the Latin "rapturo").
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 (KJV):
"For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up (harpazo) together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."
The catching away of believers is not a new concept but a divine promise. Jesus Himself spoke of this event:
John 14:2-3 (KJV):
"In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also."
If Christ physically returns to rule on Earth for 1,000 years, when do believers go to the place He has prepared? The answer is simple: before His return, at the Rapture.
π The Enemy’s Deception: Alien Abduction & The Great Lie
As the world moves further into deception, we see Satan preparing an alternative explanation for the Rapture.
- The U.S. government and world leaders are normalizing UFO sightings and alien encounters.
- The media and Hollywood have spent decades conditioning people to believe in alien life (The X-Files, Independence Day, Ancient Aliens, etc.).
- Many are already saying if millions disappear, it must be "alien abduction."
This great deception aligns with what Paul warned about:
2 Thessalonians 2:9-11 (KJV):
"Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie."
The Antichrist will rise in the chaos after the Rapture, and the world will be desperate for answers. The lie will be given—aliens, a cosmic shift, or "the universe removing the negative ones."
⚠️ DO NOT BE DECEIVED. Jesus is coming back for His bride.
π’ Pre-Tribulation Rapture: Biblical Proof
Many argue over when the Rapture will take place. While some believe in a mid-trib or post-trib event, Scripture overwhelmingly supports a Pre-Tribulation Rapture.
1️⃣ Luke 21:36 (KJV):
"Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man."
π Jesus commands us to pray for an ESCAPE. If believers were meant to endure the Tribulation, why would Jesus say we can escape all of it?
2️⃣ Revelation 3:10 (KJV):
"Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth."
π The phrase “keep thee from” in Greek means to completely remove from—not to protect within the trial.
3️⃣ 1 Thessalonians 5:9 (KJV):
"For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ."
π The Tribulation is the WRATH of God poured out on an unbelieving world. If God did not appoint us to wrath, why would believers be present?
4️⃣ Genesis 6 & 19: God spared Noah before the flood and Lot before Sodom was destroyed.
π God ALWAYS removes His faithful before judgment falls.
5️⃣ Revelation 19:7-14: The church is seen in heaven before Christ returns at the Second Coming.
π The Bride of Christ returns with Him. If the Rapture were post-Trib, there would be no time for the Wedding Supper of the Lamb.
π Prophecy Unfolding Before Our Eyes
Everything Jesus warned about is happening now:
✅ Wars & rumors of wars – (Matthew 24:6-7)
✅ Pestilences & plagues – (Luke 21:11)
✅ Signs in the heavens – (Luke 21:25)
✅ The Euphrates drying up – (Revelation 16:12)
✅ Rise of digital currency & control – (Revelation 13:16-17)
The world is being set up for the final 7 years of history. Time is running out.
π₯ The Call to Repentance: What Should You Do?
Jesus is coming soon—are you ready?
π 2 Peter 3:9 (KJV)
"The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."
πΉ God is patient, but judgment is near.
πΉ Do not delay—repent today.
✝️ The Gospel: How to Be Saved
1️⃣ Recognize that you are a sinner.
π "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)
2️⃣ Understand that sin leads to death.
π "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23)
3️⃣ Believe that Jesus died and rose again for you.
π "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)
4️⃣ Confess and believe in Jesus Christ.
π "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." (Romans 10:9)
5️⃣ Turn from sin and follow Christ.
π "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out." (Acts 3:19)
