Understanding the Season: A Biblical Perspective on the Last Days

Throughout history, people have speculated about the end of the age, but Jesus Himself gave us clear signs to look for. While He declared, “But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only” (Matthew 24:36), He also urged His followers to be watchful, saying, “So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors” (Matthew 24:33).

The events unfolding in our world today unmistakably align with the prophecies given in Scripture. Jesus likened the signs of His return to birth pains—gradually increasing in intensity and frequency (Matthew 24:7-8).

So, where are we in God’s timeline? Let’s examine the prophetic markers indicating that we are in the final stretch of human history before the return of Jesus Christ.

The Birth Pains: Signs of the End Times

1️⃣ Nation Rising Against Nation (Matthew 24:6-7)

Jesus warned of increasing wars and conflicts, and today we see global tensions at an all-time high.

🔥 Russia and Ukraine War Intensifies – Russia recently dropped a three-ton bomb and launched a massive airstrike on Ukraine, signaling a dangerous escalation. Meanwhile, Ukraine has been conducting drone strikes on Russian soil. Could this conflict spiral into something even greater?

🔥 The Middle East on the Brink – Trump recently hinted at an imminent military action against Iran, following Iran’s acceleration of uranium enrichment. Israel and the U.S. are preparing for a possible strike against Iran’s nuclear sites. This aligns with Jeremiah 49, which prophesies the destruction of Elam (modern-day Iran).

🔥 Syria and Damascus in Chaos – The ongoing war in Syria has led to the massacre of religious minorities, including Christians. The Bible foretells Damascus’ destruction: “Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap” (Isaiah 17:1). The intensifying violence may be leading to the fulfillment of this prophecy.

2️⃣ Natural Disasters & Global Distress (Luke 21:11)

The world is experiencing unprecedented disasters, including:
🌋 Volcanic eruptions increasing globally
🌊 Earthquakes devastating multiple regions
🌍 Extreme weather patterns causing chaos

These events align with Luke 21:11: “And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.”

3️⃣ Digital Currency & Global Control (Revelation 13:16-17)

The FIFA World Cup President recently announced a new digital currency for its 5 billion fanbase, further pushing society toward a cashless economy. At the same time, governments worldwide are discussing Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs), which could lead to complete financial control.

Revelation 13:16-17 warns that the Antichrist will establish an economic system where “no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark.” We are witnessing the framework for this prophecy being built right now.

4️⃣ The 120th Jubilee & The Coming Messianic Kingdom

God’s timeline, measured in Jubilee cycles (50-year periods), is another prophetic countdown.

✅ Moses received the Law on a Jubilee year (Leviticus 25).
✅ Jesus began His ministry in a Jubilee year (Luke 4:16-21).
✅ Israel was reborn in 1948—a Jubilee year.

If we calculate from Adam, the 5995th year has passed, meaning we are on the cusp of the 6000th year, leading to the Messianic reign of Christ (Revelation 20:4-6).

Could this be the final Jubilee before the return of Jesus?

The Urgent Call to Repentance

The prophetic clock is nearing midnight, and yet, many are still asleep. The Bible warns: “For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape” (1 Thessalonians 5:3).

📌 Understand that sin leads to death. – Romans 6:23
📌 Believe that Jesus died and rose again for you. – Romans 5:8
📌 Confess and believe in Jesus Christ. – Romans 10:9
📌 Turn from sin and follow Christ. – Acts 3:19

“Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” (2 Corinthians 6:2)

Final Thoughts: Are You Ready?

As the Middle East teeters on the edge of war, as global financial systems shift toward total control, and as natural disasters intensify, it’s clear that the return of Jesus Christ is near.

📢 The world is being prepared for the Antichrist, but the Church is being prepared for Jesus Christ!
