Are You Ready to Come Home? A Prophetic Call to Return Before the Door Closes

“Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow.
For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.”

—James 4:14 (KJV)

Life Is Short. Eternity Is Not.

Every moment we spend on this earth is a fleeting breath compared to the eternal reality that awaits us. Scripture declares that man's life is but a vapor—here today, gone tomorrow. Yet many live as though this world is their forever home.

They spend their lives in idolatry—worshiping pleasure, wealth, status, and self—while ignoring the still, small voice of the One who formed them. The urgency of His return is ignored. The Word is neglected. The soul grows numb.

“But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare...
For the love of money is the root of all evil.”

—1 Timothy 6:9–10 (KJV)

“Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.”
—1 John 5:21 (KJV)

But There Is a Remnant

God sees everything. And in this hour of compromise and deception, He is still watching over a faithful remnant. Like diligent ants, they labor—not in vain pursuits, but in obedience to the Lord. They study His Word, they worship in spirit and truth, they help their neighbor, and they store up treasures not in banks, but in heaven.

“Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth… But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven…”
—Matthew 6:19–20 (KJV)

They speak to Him daily—and He hears. He speaks to them—softly, in the secret place. This is not religion. It is relationship.

“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.”
—John 10:27 (KJV)

He Knew You Before the Foundation of the World

This is not poetic language—it is prophetic reality.

“Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee;
and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee…”

—Jeremiah 1:5 (KJV)

You were not an accident. You were not random. You were knit together with divine purpose and eternal placement in His Kingdom.

“According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world…”
—Ephesians 1:4 (KJV)

He is calling His children home—not to a place of fear, but of fulfillment. Not to escape earth, but to enter glory. A place of no more tears. No more pain. No more suffering.

“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes;
and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying,
neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”

—Revelation 21:4 (KJV)

Prophetic Alignment: The Time Is Now

We live in a generation that fulfills the words of Paul:

“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
For men shall be lovers of their own selves… lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof…”

—2 Timothy 3:1–5 (KJV)

Wars. Earthquakes. Political unrest. Technological overreach. Moral decay. Apostasy in the Church. Everything Jesus warned about in Matthew 24 is not just coming—it is here.

And still, many are asleep.

“Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.”
—1 Thessalonians 5:6 (KJV)

A Call to Repentance

This is not a time to delay. This is not a season to be lukewarm. The shout is coming. The Bridegroom is preparing to return for His bride. Are you ready?

“Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.”
—Matthew 25:13 (KJV)

If you’ve been distant, come home. If you’ve been complacent, repent. If you’ve been distracted, fix your eyes back on Christ.

“Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you…”
—James 4:8 (KJV)

The Gospel Message

You are not saved by your good deeds. You are not saved by church attendance or religious tradition. You are saved by grace through faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ.

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”
—Romans 3:23 (KJV)

“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
—Romans 5:8 (KJV)

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead,
thou shalt be saved.”

—Romans 10:9 (KJV)

Jesus died for you. He rose for you. He is coming again—for you.

Final Word:

“They shall be mine, saith the Lord of hosts,
in that day when I make up my jewels…”

—Malachi 3:17 (KJV)

You are His treasure. His jewel. He is preparing a place for you.

But the question remains:

Are you ready to come home?
