When the World Feels Off—Is God Calling You?
“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
— Matthew 6:33 (KJV)
Have you been feeling it?
That quiet tug in your spirit to pick up your Bible.
A sudden urge to pray.
A whisper to get back to church.
A longing to figure out who Jesus truly is.
You’re not alone. That stirring you feel isn’t random—it’s prophetic. All around, millions are sensing that something is deeply off in the world. The chaos, the confusion, the division—these aren't just signs of political instability or societal unrest. They are signs of the times. And those with spiritual eyes are starting to see.
The Call to Return
Maybe you used to walk closely with God. Maybe you never have. Either way, the invitation is the same:
Return to the One who made you.
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
— Matthew 11:28 (KJV)
We were not made by chance. You are not here by accident. The same God who created the stars by name knows your name. He knows your scars. He knows your past. And He’s calling you back—not to religion, but to relationship.
But here’s the truth: following Jesus won’t always feel good. It means crucifying your flesh daily (Galatians 5:24). It means choosing His will over your own. It’s not always easy—but it is worth it. On the other side of obedience is peace. On the other side of repentance is restoration.
“Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.
And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.”
— Jeremiah 29:12–13 (KJV)
Don’t Miss the Moment
God is not obligated to keep knocking forever.
He is merciful, but He will not force Himself into your life. As Scripture warns, His Spirit shall not always strive with man (Genesis 6:3). That tug you feel? That’s grace. That stirring? That’s a call. Don’t ignore it.
“Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time… To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.”
— Hebrews 4:7 (KJV)
A World Without God Cannot Heal Itself
We’ve tried everything—money, politics, entertainment, activism, unity summits.
If man could have fixed this, we would have done it by now.
But the world can’t save itself because the problem isn’t global—it’s spiritual.
We don’t need another human solution.
We need a Savior.
The Call to Repentance
If you’ve walked away from God, come home. If you’ve never known Him, now is the time. There is no sin too great, no life too broken. The mercy of Jesus is greater still.
“Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him… for he will abundantly pardon.”
— Isaiah 55:7 (KJV)
A Clear Gospel Invitation
-
Recognize Your Sin
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23 KJV)
-
Understand the Penalty
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23 KJV)
-
Believe in Jesus
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8 KJV)
-
Confess and Receive Him
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
— Romans 10:9,13 (KJV)
Today is the day of salvation. If you feel the pull—do not delay. Cry out to Jesus and surrender.
