As the Waters Cover the Sea: The Coming Knowledge of the Glory of the Lord

“For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord,
as the waters cover the sea.”

While general revelation shows us that God is, special revelation tells us who He is.

The Bible is not just an old book. It is living truth—revealing the character, will, and plan of God through His Son, Jesus Christ. It is the lens through which we interpret the world, understand His promises, and prepare for what is coming.

And now, thanks to technology, the Word of God is more accessible than ever. With a Bible in your hand—or a Bible app on your phone—no one can say they didn’t have the opportunity to seek Him.

Prophetic Fulfillment: The Knowledge Will Cover the Earth

Habakkuk 2:14 isn’t poetic exaggeration—it’s prophetic certainty. The Bible consistently points to a future where Christ will reign and every knee shall bow.

“That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.”

In a world filled with artificial intelligence, global instability, and spiritual confusion, this truth must ground us: the knowledge of God will flood the earth like the sea.
No nation, culture, or ideology will stand untouched.

Sin separates us from a holy God. But God, in His mercy, sent His Son—Jesus Christ—to bear our sin on the cross. He died, was buried, and rose again on the third day. And now, salvation is offered to all who will receive it.

and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead,
thou shalt be saved.”

Don’t delay. If God is tugging on your heart, respond now. Confess your sin. Repent. Call upon the name of Jesus. And your name will be written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

Final Word: His Glory Is Coming—Will You Be Ready?

We are fast approaching a time when every eye will see. The glory of God will not be hidden.
It will cover the earth, and it will either bring peace to the redeemed or terror to the rebellious.
