Exceedingly, Abundantly: Letting God Work Beyond What You Can Imagine
“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think,
according to the power that worketh in us,
Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.”
— Ephesians 3:20–21, KJV
Have you ever paused in the middle of your day and felt it—that deep ache inside? The longing for more than this broken world can offer? The desire for purpose, peace, or something that transcends the mundane?
That hunger isn't random. It’s spiritual DNA calling out to its Creator.
God Planted That Longing in You
“He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart…”
— Ecclesiastes 3:11, KJV
That unrest in your soul isn’t a flaw—it’s a holy signal. It’s God pulling you upward, reminding you that you weren’t made for just surviving—you were made to thrive in His purpose, by His Spirit, for His glory.
The world tries to fill that void with temporary pleasures, distractions, or success. But only the presence of God satisfies that longing permanently.
“Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.”
— Matthew 5:6, KJV
His Power in You Is Greater Than Your Thoughts
We often limit God's work in our lives because we limit our vision of what He wants to do.
But Paul’s prayer in Ephesians 3:20 breaks that limitation:
“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think…”
This isn’t just a promise of provision—this is a declaration of divine capability. God isn’t just able to help you get by—He’s ready to overflow your life with things you didn’t even dare to imagine.
But here’s the key:
“…according to the power that worketh in us.”
God’s greatness doesn’t manifest apart from His people—it works through them. The same power that raised Christ from the dead is active in you (Romans 8:11). The question is: Are you letting it?
Step Aside and Let God Work
“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me...”
— Galatians 2:20, KJV
Sometimes, we are the biggest obstacle to our own breakthrough. Our pride, our planning, and our “what if” scenarios cloud the path that God is trying to clear.
That voice in your head saying, “You need to control this”?
That’s not faith—that’s fear dressed up as logic.
Let God lead. His ways are higher. His thoughts are better.
“For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways…”
— Isaiah 55:9, KJV
Modern Distractions vs. Eternal Reality
We live in a world obsessed with self-actualization, personal brands, and hustle culture. But God’s agenda is about kingdom transformation, not self-promotion.
“That no flesh should glory in his presence.”
— 1 Corinthians 1:29, KJV
You were created to reflect His glory—not your own. When God moves in your life, it’s not just for your benefit—it’s so others see Christ in you.
In a time of global uncertainty—where AI replaces jobs, nations war, and truth is suppressed—your surrendered life becomes a prophetic witness. Not to your greatness, but to the greatness of the One who lives in you.
A Call to Repentance: Move from Self to Surrender
If you've been trying to orchestrate your life according to your own understanding, it’s time to lay that down.
“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.”
— Proverbs 3:5, KJV
The breakthroughs you seek won’t come through striving—but through yielding.
God is ready to move exceedingly and abundantly in your life. But first, He needs your yes. Not your conditions. Not your timing. Just your surrender.
The Gospel: Christ in You, the Hope of Glory
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”
— Romans 3:23, KJV
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
— Romans 5:8, KJV
That power working in you? It starts with salvation. Jesus didn’t die just to forgive your sins—He died to fill you with His life.
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
— Romans 10:9, KJV
You don’t have to fix yourself. You don’t have to earn it.
Just believe. Confess. Receive.
Final Word: Let Go. Let God. Watch Him Exceed
God has more for you than survival.
More than maintenance.
More than you can even imagine.
“Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.”
— 1 Corinthians 2:9, KJV
So let today be the day you step aside and let God work.
Declare it boldly.
Live it faithfully.
And prepare to witness His power flowing exceedingly, abundantly through you—for His glory.
