A Call to Resist, Repent, and Return
“Therefore submit yourselves to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you.”
— James 4:7–8, KJV
Scripture declares, with submission. We cannot resist the enemy unless we first submit to God. Many try to skip the first command and still expect deliverance. But Jesus, when tempted in the wilderness, submitted to the Father by standing firmly on the written Word. He did not engage Satan with emotion, argument, or compromise. He wielded the sword of the Spirit the Word of God with confidence and authority.
“It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.”
— Matthew 4:4, KJV
This was not passive resistance. It was the confident declaration of one who knew His identity and walked in divine assignment. This is our model. To submit is to seek. To resist is to speak. To overcome is to stand.
Kingdom Over Comfort: Why God Blesses
“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
— Matthew 6:33, KJV
We cry out for partners, for wealth, for influence, but fail to understand that every blessing from God is tied to a Kingdom purpose. The money is not for your pleasure. The marriage is not for your comfort. The platform is not for your ego. Every provision is given for the fulfillment of divine assignment. And until we understand that, we are not fit to steward what we’ve asked for.
“Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.”
— 1 Corinthians 4:2, KJV
A good steward walks in spiritual purpose before seeking physical reward. A man must walk in his assignment before seeking a helpmate. A heart must be purified from the love of money before it can handle abundance. Otherwise, the blessing becomes a snare, the gift becomes a god, and the calling becomes corrupted.
The Love of Money and the Corruption of the Calling
“No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other... Ye cannot serve God and mammon.”
— Matthew 6:24, KJV
This generation is plagued with compromise trying to mix light and darkness, trying to walk with God while living by the flesh. But God is not mocked. He is no longer tolerating cowardice, witchcraft, adultery, division, or fornication in His house. He is calling His remnant to rise in holiness and unity, or else He will give the rebellious over to their idols.
“Ephraim is joined to idols: let him alone.”
— Hosea 4:17, KJV
To walk in mixture is to forfeit divine protection. To cling to sin is to risk being blotted from the Book of Life.
The Church Must Awaken: No More Playing Church
“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.”
— 1 Peter 5:8, KJV
God is not asking for casual Christianity. He is commanding consecration. This is the year of alignment spiritual realignment to the Word, to prayer, to holiness, to obedience. The deception coming upon the earth is so subtle, so persuasive, that even the elect may be deceived.
“For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets... insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”
— Matthew 24:24, KJV
Discernment must increase. Prayer must intensify. Separation from the world must be embraced. We can no longer afford to walk on the fence. The Lord is coming not as a lamb, but as a judge, with eyes like fire and a sword proceeding from His mouth.
“And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword... and he shall rule them with a rod of iron.”
— Revelation 19:15, KJV
This is not the hour to be lukewarm.
A Call to Repentance
God is issuing a final warning: get in alignment or suffer loss. He is not playing. The shaking we see in the world wars, pestilence, economic instability, global rebellion are not random. They are prophetic.
He is purifying His bride.
He is shaking everything that can be shaken so that only what is unshakable will remain.
Let the Church repent. Let the leaders fall on their faces. Let the saints return to holiness. The time is now.
The Gospel of Jesus Christ
If you are reading this and know your life is not aligned with God, there is hope but it begins with repentance and surrender.
All have sinned.
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”
Romans 3:23 (KJV)
Sin brings death.
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Romans 6:23 (KJV)
Jesus paid the price.
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Romans 5:8 (KJV)
Confess and believe.
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
Romans 10:9 (KJV)
Conclusion
The word of the Lord is clear: submit, resist, align. Do not delay. Do not compromise. This is the year of divine separation. Those who are His must live like it. Let this not be another message you scroll past. Let it be the moment that realignment begins for your soul, your household, and your calling.
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
Revelation 2:29 (KJV)
If you are ready to surrender, cry out now. The door is still open but not for long.
Repent. Return. Be ready.
