I Am Coming for My Shining Jewels
"And they shall be mine, saith the Lord of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him." (Malachi 3:17, KJV)
The Lord is gathering His shining jewels, the righteous remnant who have washed their robes in the blood of the Lamb. These are the ones who have endured the fire of testing and remained undefiled by the world.
"These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb." (Revelation 7:14, KJV)
Soon, the entire world will be engulfed in a great war. It will erupt suddenly, without warning. Yet even before this moment of chaos and destruction, God’s call will go forth calling His people to Himself.
"For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape." (1 Thessalonians 5:3, KJV)
Those who are sealed in Christ, who have walked in obedience and repentance, will not be taken by surprise. Their garments will remain spotless because they walk in the Spirit, not after the flesh.
"That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish." (Ephesians 5:27, KJV)
These faithful ones were appointed from the beginning for this hour. God has protected them. He has formed them for such a time as this. Their mission, though largely unseen by the world, has been to uphold truth, intercede, and proclaim the gospel amid increasing darkness.
And now, their mission comes to an end. These loyal and faithful servants will rest with the Lord.
"Well done, thou good and faithful servant... enter thou into the joy of thy lord." (Matthew 25:21, KJV)
But the warning still echoes: Repent and turn from sin. Be accounted worthy to escape the sudden destruction and the cup of wrath.
"Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man." (Luke 21:36, KJV)
It is not too late. Though judgment is near, mercy still calls.
"Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live..." (Ezekiel 33:11, KJV)
Believe, repent, and be called to Him. He is waiting. Even now, He hears your whisper.
"The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth." (Psalm 145:18, KJV)
Come. Come. Come to Me, He says.
"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28, KJV)
The Gospel Message
All have sinned.
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23, KJV)
Sin brings death.
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23, KJV)
Jesus paid the price.
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8, KJV)
Confess and believe.
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." (Romans 10:9, KJV)
Conclusion
The time is short. The judgment is real. But so is the mercy of God. Now is the time to return to Him with your whole heart. Do not wait until the trumpet sounds and the door is shut.
"Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near." (Isaiah 55:6, KJV)
The Savior is near. Come to Him now.
