No More Lukewarm: A Prophetic Warning to the Church

“I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.”

Revelation 3:15–16 (KJV)

This is not the time to waver. It is the time to choose.

“This Day Is Coming...”

The Holy Spirit began with urgency:

“This day is coming. Where they can no longer be hot or cold, but must choose.”

There is a day approaching  sooner than most realize  where neutrality will vanish. The illusion of middle ground will dissolve under the piercing light of God’s truth. No one will be able to remain indifferent. As prophecy unfolds before our eyes, truth will stand undeniable.

We are witnessing it already: spiritual compromise, doctrinal decay, and a Church tempted to bow to culture instead of Christ.

“And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve.”
Joshua 24:15 (KJV)

Hardened Hearts and the Danger of Delay

“Do not wait till the last second. Truth will be right in front of them where they can no longer deny nor not choose a side.”

This echoes Hebrews 3:15:

“Today if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.”
Hebrews 3:15 (KJV)

When the moment of decision comes, many will wish they had chosen earlier. There is a spiritual hardening happening in our generation  a dullness to conviction, a comfort in compromise. The longer one waits, the harder the heart becomes.

Now is the time to repent. Now is the time to prepare.

A Call to Intimacy with Jesus

“They must know my son and recognize his voice when he calls... They are to be his bride.”

This is not a call to religion. This is a call to relationship. The Lord is not seeking church attendance or moral behavior alone  He is seeking a Bride who knows Him.

“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.”
John 10:27 (KJV)

How can we follow someone we do not recognize? How can we be His bride if we do not long for His return? A bride prepares. A bride keeps her eyes on the groom. The Church must do the same.

Seek His Face While He May Be Found

“I want them to seek me with all that they are. There is no time to waste.”

The Lord is not distant. He is near to those who seek Him. But He will not force Himself upon anyone. He knocks. We must open.

“Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near.”
Isaiah 55:6 (KJV)

This generation has been offered every distraction imaginable  screens, ideologies, fear, busyness  but the Spirit is calling us to drop the noise and pursue the face of Christ.

Revelation to Laodicea: The Lukewarm Church

“I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot... I will spue thee out of my mouth.”
Revelation 3:15–16 (KJV)

This warning from Revelation 3 was directly given to the church in Laodicea, a wealthy but spiritually apathetic people. They had the form of religion but lacked fire. They believed they needed nothing but were, in fact, wretched, blind, and naked (Revelation 3:17).

This is the condition of much of the modern Church.

Comfort has replaced commitment.
Toleration has replaced truth.
Performance has replaced prayer.

And the Lord is warning: “Choose.”

A Line in the Sand

The Lord's message is not unclear:

  • Get out of spiritual complacency.

  • Repent while there's still time.

  • Know Jesus personally.

  • Choose now before the pressure comes.

There will be no room for hesitation in the days ahead. The deception will be strong. The pressure will be real. The shaking will intensify. And only those rooted in Christ will endure.

“And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?”
1 Peter 4:18 (KJV)

The Gospel Invitation

If you don’t yet have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ  do not delay. The King is knocking. The Spirit is calling. And heaven is ready to receive those who come.

All have sinned.

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”
Romans 3:23 (KJV)

Sin brings death.

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Romans 6:23 (KJV)

Jesus paid the price.

“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Romans 5:8 (KJV)

Confess and believe.

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
Romans 10:9 (KJV)

Conclusion

This is not just a message. It is a moment  a decision point.

The Spirit is drawing a line. The lukewarm will not survive what is coming. The Bride must burn with oil. The Church must awaken. The unbeliever must come home.

The time to choose is now.

“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock.”
Revelation 3:20 (KJV)
