The Glory in Your Surrender: A Prophetic Word for Those in Waiting
"And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them."
— John 17:10 (KJV)
We are living in a time where disappointments can feel relentless and seasons seem to shift abruptly. The enemy’s schemes often aim to provoke frustration, discouragement, and despair. Yet the Lord is calling His people into a higher place not by striving, but by surrender. The Spirit is asking:
“Are you willing to release the lesser for the greater?”
So many are weighed down by closed doors, wondering what went wrong. But in the silence of these transitions, God is not absent. He is recalibrating. Repositioning. Realigning your life for something greater than you could imagine.
"The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."
— John 10:10 (KJV)
The enemy may have stolen something a dream, a job, a relationship, a hope. But the Lord reminds us: “My ability to bless is much greater than the enemy’s ability to steal.” This is not a shallow encouragement. It is a biblical truth, anchored in the character of God Himself.
"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."
— Romans 8:28 (KJV)
When we insist on holding onto our right to be angry, when we cling to questions like “Why?”, we become stuck. But when we shake off discouragement and trade our grief for praise, we realign ourselves with the flow of God’s sovereign will.
"To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness..."
— Isaiah 61:3 (KJV)
This is not denial. It is faith. It is choosing to believe that when you put something in God’s hand no matter how broken He sees it, honors it, and transforms it. It is believing that surrender does not equal loss, but rather the beginning of multiplication.
"Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over..."
— Luke 6:38 (KJV)
In John 17:18, Jesus declares:
"As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world."
— John 17:18 (KJV)
This divine exchange, this partnership between the Father and the Son, is now extended to us. He is glorified in us, when we surrender to Him. The weight of His glory rests not on our perfection but on our obedience and yielding.
A Word for This Hour
If you've been crushed, discouraged, or burdened by what’s been lost, hear the Word of the Lord:
“Give this situation to Me and watch what I will do. It’s coming.”
The shaking in this season is not random. It is prophetic. It is purposeful. And it is preparing the Church to reflect the glory of Christ more fully than ever before. But glory never follows pride. It follows surrender.
So, stop asking “Why?” and begin declaring “Who.”
He is sovereign. He is faithful. He is near.
"The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit."
— Psalm 34:18 (KJV)
A Call to Repentance
If you’ve been clinging to disappointment, anger, or bitterness, the Lord invites you to lay it down. His glory will not rest on a clenched fist, but on an open hand. Turn back to Him. Let Him lead you through the fire into fullness.
"Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded."
— James 4:8 (KJV)
The Gospel
All have sinned.
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."
— Romans 3:23 (KJV)
Sin brings death.
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
— Romans 6:23 (KJV)
Jesus paid the price.
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
— Romans 5:8 (KJV)
Confess and believe.
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."
— Romans 10:9 (KJV)
Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your heart. Surrender your life to Christ. Lay down the weight, and pick up the gift of eternal life. He is faithful to restore, redeem, and glorify Himself in you.
Conclusion
Let this be the hour where your sorrow becomes your offering and your frustration becomes your fuel for faith. What you release into His hands, He will multiply for His glory. Remember: He is not done with you He is just getting started.
