The Lion Will Roar: A Prophetic Warning to the Church in the Last Hour
The Lord is calling His church, especially its leaders, to repentance. Time is short. The Lion of Judah is preparing to roar.
“For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?”

The Word of Warning: Hypocrisy in the House
Anise, a spice referenced in Matthew 23:23. Jesus condemned the Pharisees for tithing “mint and anise and cummin” while neglecting “the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith.” The same spirit of hypocrisy is alive today.
The Lord grieves over shepherds who value ritual over righteousness, profit over people. In Zechariah 7:9–14, where God’s people hardened their hearts, refused justice, ignored the widow and the orphan, and faced desolation because of it.
“Yea, they made their hearts as an adamant stone, lest they should hear the law… therefore came a great wrath from the Lord of hosts.”

Many modern churches have become platforms for personal gain, not pulpits of truth. Leaders preach partial truths, create manmade rules, and ignore the commandments of Christ. They mimic the Pharisees and Sadducees religious in form, void of the Spirit.
“This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.”

The Cry of God’s Heart: “My People Do Not Know Me”
“My people are being destroyed because they don’t know me.” His heart aches not over atheists or pagans but over His own children who turn their faces from Him. They claim His name but lack intimacy with Him and the Father.
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee…”

“Many will come to their destruction because they do not know Me.” This is not a distant warning. It is for now. Many who fill church pews will not be taken in the Rapture. They will be left behind, not for lack of religion, but for lack of relationship.

Lampstands Will Be Removed
In Revelation 2, Christ warns the churches that their lampstands symbols of His presence can and will be removed if they do not repent. The Lord showed a pillar with a light being extinguished. He said, “Their lamp will be removed because there is no light in them.”
“Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent… or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.”

This is already happening. Congregations that once shined brightly now preach motivational speeches and offer spiritual sedation. The truth is replaced with tolerance, the Gospel with gimmicks.
The Lion Is Coming
The Lord's tone shifted. “I am not playing anymore,” He said. “The Lion is coming, and I will roar.”
“The lion hath roared, who will not fear? the Lord GOD hath spoken, who can but prophesy?”

He is returning not as a suffering servant but as the King of kings. The One whose eyes are as fire and who treads the winepress of God's wrath (Revelation 19:11–16).
A Rebuke to Leaders and the Call to Love
James 2:9:
“But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.”

Many spiritual leaders are guilty of partiality, favoritism, pride, and cruelty all while preaching in Jesus' name. The Lord also quoted 2 Peter 2:12:
“But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption.”

This is the heart of His rebuke: you hurt others in My name. You use My Word to elevate yourselves and oppress others. Repent.
“Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing…”

Christ abolished the law of condemnation through His sacrifice. We are not called to return to manmade rules but to walk in the Spirit and in love.
“Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances…”

“Did they love like I have loved? Did they know Me? Did they have a relationship with Me and the Father?”
“But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.”

A Call to Repentance
Beloved, this word is not given in condemnation but in mercy. The Lord is warning us now before it is too late.
Return to your first love. Cast down every religious spirit, every tradition that exalts man and silences truth. Open your heart. Know Him. Walk in the light.
“As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.”

The Gospel: Your Only Hope
We are all guilty before a holy God.
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”

Our sin earns death and eternal separation from Him.
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Yet God, in His love, made a way. He sent His Son.
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

Now, salvation is freely offered to all who believe.
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”

Conclusion: Return While There Is Still Time
The Lion is preparing to roar. The hour is urgent. The warnings are clear. Jesus is coming not for a religious crowd, but for a ready Bride.
Do not be found with a closed heart and a dead lamp. Return to Christ. Repent of hypocrisy. Know Him. Love like He loves.
