The Righteous Judge Is Coming: A Prophetic Warning to the Wicked

"Tell them, thus saith the Lord: surely the wicked will pay for their unjust works and ways."

These opening words resound with the unchanging justice of God. The Lord sees every act of violence, corruption, and injustice. The blood of the innocent cries out to Him from the earth (Genesis 4:10), and He will not remain silent.

"The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good." (Proverbs 15:3, KJV)

The wicked may boast and prosper for a time, but judgment is coming.

"For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish." (Psalm 1:6, KJV)

Slaying My People, Day and Night

"Slaying my people both day and night do they not know it is in my sight?"

Whether through physical violence, oppressive systems, or spiritual deception, God's people are under constant attack. But every injustice is seen by the Righteous Judge.

"Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?" (Genesis 18:25, KJV)

He will avenge His own.

"And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him...?" (Luke 18:7, KJV)

The Enemy Is Ready to Devour

"The enemy is snarling and gnashing his teeth… it is not long before they will be laying at his feet."

Satan walks about as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). Many will be given over to the very master they served in their rebellion.

"He that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption…" (Galatians 6:8, KJV)

The Day of the Lord will expose every hidden sin. The tares will be burned.

"The Son of man shall send forth his angels… and shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth." (Matthew 13:41–42, KJV)

Ashes and the Fall of the Proud

"The tares will be ashes… the wicked will fall into my mighty hand."

God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble (James 4:6). Nations and individuals who build their lives on unrighteousness will be brought low.

"Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the Lord… though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished." (Proverbs 16:5, KJV)

"Whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased." (Matthew 23:12, KJV)

A House Built on Sand Will Not Stand

"They will know their house was built on sand."

Jesus warned that the one who hears His words and does not obey is like a man who built his house upon sand. When the storm comes, it falls.

"And great was the fall of it." (Matthew 7:27, KJV)

The judgment will not be delayed forever. Those who reject the foundation of Christ will be shaken to ruin.

God Rules Over All Big and Small

"For I am God of both big and small. If I raised them up, I can make them fall."

Whether kings or commoners, none are above God's law. He raises up and casts down according to His perfect justice.

"He removeth kings, and setteth up kings…" (Daniel 2:21, KJV)

"Promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west… but God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another." (Psalm 75:6–7, KJV)

The Trumpet Will Sound

"He is coming to the throne. He is not alone. Hear ye, hear ye, with the loud trumpet sound."

The King is returning not in silence, but with the sound of a trumpet and the armies of heaven.

"For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout… with the trump of God…" (1 Thessalonians 4:16, KJV)

"Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him…" (Revelation 1:7, KJV)

The world will not be ready. But you can be.

Call to Repentance

"Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near." (Isaiah 55:6, KJV)

The time of mercy still remains but not forever. Will you be found standing on the Rock, or scattered among the ashes?

"And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve… but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." (Joshua 24:15, KJV)

The Gospel Message

All have sinned.

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23, KJV)

Sin brings death.

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23, KJV)

Jesus paid the price.

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8, KJV)

Confess and believe.

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." (Romans 10:9, KJV)

Conclusion

This is a final warning. The trumpet of the Lord is about to sound. The Judge stands at the door. There will be no excuses and no second chances after that day.

"Today if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts." (Hebrews 3:15, KJV)

Turn now. Repent. Believe the gospel. Prepare to meet your God.

"Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh." (Matthew 24:44, KJV)
