The Shaking of the Church: Prophetic Warnings and the Call to Stand Firm
In this age of confusion and compromise, God is speaking clearly to His people. The prophetic message resounds with urgency: Stay close to My voice.
"My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me" (John 10:27, KJV).
"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths" (Proverbs 3:5–6, KJV).
We are entering days of great shaking. A storm of tribulation is gathering across the globe. Wars rage, truth is silenced, families are torn apart, and lawlessness increases. But Scripture forewarns us:
"For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be" (Matthew 24:21, KJV).
"And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed" (Romans 13:11, KJV).
This coming upheaval will not only awaken many but separate the true Church from the counterfeit. The Lord declares:
"So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void" (Isaiah 55:11, KJV).
"For the vision is yet for an appointed time... though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry" (Habakkuk 2:3, KJV).
God is calling His people to rise and speak His truth without compromise. Yet the enemy is cunning. Deception rarely comes dressed in darkness it comes clothed in familiarity.
"But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted" (2 Corinthians 11:3, KJV).
"Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines" (Song of Solomon 2:15, KJV).
A Warning to Shepherds
God rebukes the leaders who fail to guard their flocks.
"Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the Lord" (Jeremiah 23:1, KJV).
"For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine... and they shall turn away their ears from the truth" (2 Timothy 4:3–4, KJV).
The voice of truth is being drowned out by entertainment, compromise, and worldly success. But the Lord reminds us:
"Be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind" (Romans 12:2, KJV).
"Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world... If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him" (1 John 2:15, KJV).
Though the enemy seeks to infiltrate the Church, Christ has declared:
"Upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it" (Matthew 16:18, KJV).
"Let no man deceive you... that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God" (2 Thessalonians 2:3–4, KJV).
Deception Begins with Perception
One small compromise, one small change in how truth is perceived, can set the stage for a great falling away. This is post-modernism at its core: redefining truth to fit comfort.
"For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets... insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect" (Matthew 24:24, KJV).
"But there were false prophets also among the people... who privily shall bring in damnable heresies" (2 Peter 2:1, KJV).
The Lord reveals a vital distinction in these final days:
The apostate church of the world (Revelation 17:1–6) will be consumed. But the true remnant of God (Revelation 14:1–5) will be preserved.
A Call to Repentance
This is a warning, but it is also a plea. Return to the Lord. Shake off compromise. Come out from among them.
"Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord" (2 Corinthians 6:17, KJV).
"Turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning" (Joel 2:12, KJV).
The Gospel Message
All have sinned.
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23, KJV).
Sin brings death.
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 6:23, KJV).
Jesus paid the price.
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8, KJV).
Confess and believe.
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved" (Romans 10:9, KJV).
Conclusion
The Church is being tested. The line between truth and deception is becoming clearer. God is raising up a remnant those who love not their lives unto death, who cling to His voice, and who will not bow to the world. Let us not be found asleep in this hour. Let us watch, speak truth, and walk in righteousness.
The storm is here. But so is the Shepherd. Stay close to His voice and you will not be moved.
