You Are His Inheritance: The Unseen Wealth of Heaven

“That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints.”

— Ephesians 1:17–18 (KJV)

We live in a world obsessed with inheritance bank accounts, land deeds, properties, and portfolios. People measure worth by what they own or expect to receive. But in the Kingdom of Heaven, the scales are turned. God, in His infinite glory, declares that we are His inheritance. Not gold. Not galaxies. You.

The Father speaks to His people with a love that eclipses earthly comprehension: “You are my glorious inheritance. My delight in you is real. You are my reward.”

This is not poetic exaggeration. It is a profound theological truth deeply rooted in the Word of God.

God’s Reward Is Relationship

The heart of this message centers on divine relationship. Before the foundation of the world, the Father made a promise to the Son a love gift, a bride, a people for His own possession.

“According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love.”
— Ephesians 1:4 (KJV)

In this generation where many feel unseen, rejected, or discarded, God’s voice counters every lie with everlasting affirmation: “You are mine.” This is not contingent on performance, appearance, or popularity. It is sealed by the sacred blood of Jesus Christ.

“Ye are bought with a price; therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.”
— 1 Corinthians 6:20 (KJV)

Prophetic Implications for Our Time

In an era of artificial intelligence, digital replication, and identity theft, humanity is rapidly being devalued. Many are reduced to data points, algorithms, and disposable roles in a global system. The Antichrist spirit seeks to erase the image of God in man, to dehumanize and replace it with something synthetic.

But the Word of God breaks through this darkness with unwavering truth: You are not random. You are not a machine. You are the inheritance of the Son. No technology, government, or deception can alter your worth to God.

“For the LORD hath chosen Jacob unto himself, and Israel for his peculiar treasure.”
— Psalm 135:4 (KJV)

Just as Israel was chosen to reflect God's glory, so the Church now walks in this calling to be His holy inheritance light in the last days.

A Love That Delights, Not Just Redeems

Many see God as a rescuer, but few see Him as a delighted Bridegroom. We are shown the joy of the Lord in intimate terms: “Your love is my finest wine intoxicating and pleasing.” This echoes the Song of Solomon and the bridal language of Revelation.

“Thou art all fair, my love; there is no spot in thee.”
— Song of Solomon 4:7 (KJV)

This is not mere romanticism. It is prophetic language pointing to the final union between Christ and His Church.

“Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.”
— Revelation 19:7 (KJV)

His Mercy Watches Over You

In a time where the headlines deliver despair, and institutions crumble under corruption, the Lord’s voice remains faithful: “My mercies endure forever. I will watch over you and guard your ways.”

“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.”
— Psalm 23:6 (KJV)

Even when others speak rejection, fear, or insult over you, the Father’s Word never fails: “My words will always bring life to your soul and strength to your heart.”

This is the power of divine truth it rewrites identity, uproots shame, and releases freedom.

A Call to Repentance

Have you been chasing an inheritance that rusts, fades, or deceives? Have you traded the joy of belonging to Christ for the temporary rewards of this world?

“Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven...
For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.”

— Matthew 6:19–21 (KJV)

Return to your first love. You are not just saved you are treasured. The world may not see your worth, but Heaven does. Let the lies of the enemy fall, and let the voice of the Father rise: “You are my inheritance.”

The Gospel: You Become His by Grace

You are not born into this inheritance by flesh, but by faith in Jesus Christ. Begin here:

All have sinned.

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”
— Romans 3:23 (KJV)

Sin brings death.

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
— Romans 6:23 (KJV)

Jesus paid the price.

“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
— Romans 5:8 (KJV)

Confess and believe.

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
— Romans 10:9 (KJV)

Conclusion

You are not forgotten, forsaken, or overlooked. You are His. And more than that, you are His reward. In a generation where value is distorted, let this unchanging truth define your life: The King of Heaven finds His delight in you.

You are the glorious inheritance of the Son.
Live like it. Speak like it. Walk like it. And shine.
