Give Me Your Time: Strength Is Found in His Presence
“One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple.”
— Psalm 27:4, KJV
There’s a sacred invitation woven into every chaotic day:
“Give Me your time.”
Not out of obligation.
Not to earn favor.
But because time with God is the wellspring of all strength, clarity, and love.
You were never meant to run on empty.
But the world pulls and demands and slowly, we forget:
Our strength is not found in ourselves, but in Him.
People Demand. God Waits.
The noise of daily life is relentless.
Family, work, friends, messages, decisions... everything pulls at your attention.
But God doesn’t force Himself in.
He waits.
Patiently. Quietly. Powerfully.
“When you give Me your time,” He whispers, “I give you My strength.”
Are you weak today?
Come.
Are you overwhelmed?
Come.
Are you tired of pleasing everyone else, yet still feeling empty?
Come.
God is not asking for perfection. He is asking for proximity.
Presence Over Performance
“Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.”
— Zechariah 4:6, KJV
No human being can empower you like the Spirit of God.
The applause of people cannot sustain your soul.
You weren’t made to run on affirmation, comparison, or burnout.
You were made to abide in Him.
When you prioritize His presence above even the closest relationships, He fills you with grace for those very relationships.
It’s in surrender, not striving, that your heart aligns with Heaven.
When you sit with Him, you receive what the world cannot give:
-
Strength in your weakness
-
Peace in your chaos
-
Clarity in confusion
-
Love for the unlovable
-
Power to endure
A Daily Exchange
Time spent with God isn’t wasted it’s exchanged.
You give Him minutes.
He gives you eternal strength.
You give Him your weariness.
He gives you supernatural peace.
You give Him your agenda.
He gives you divine alignment.
This is not a burden. It’s a blessing.
The Gospel Invitation
If you’ve been living on the edge of burnout, trying to carry the weight of your world alone Jesus is calling.
Not into religion.
Not into guilt.
But into relationship.
He gave everything so you could walk in peace with God.
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”
— Romans 3:23, KJV
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
— Romans 5:8, KJV
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
— Romans 10:9, KJV
Don’t wait until you're falling apart.
Come now.
Sit with the One who knows you, loves you, and wants to strengthen you.
Conclusion
This world will never stop asking for your time.
But God isn’t just asking He’s offering.
Come sit with Him.
Let Him speak.
Let Him fill.
Let Him remind you that the most powerful thing you can do today… is to stop.
Give Him your time. And receive everything you need.
