Ministry Flows From Intimacy: Resting in God's Love and Overflowing with His Mercy

“Nevertheless I am continually with thee: thou hast holden me by my right hand.
Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.”
Psalm 73:23–24, KJV

There is a quiet, healing truth that silences all striving:
God is with you in your time of need.
Not just watching. Not just evaluating. Not just planning your next lesson in suffering He is present. Holding you. Guiding you. Healing you.

You were never created to endure pain alone. From the beginning, He has drawn near in our weakness. He says:
“I’ve loved you from the beginning. I’ve held you close, even when you were a child.”

And in this present moment, when questions swirl and clarity feels far off, He whispers:
“Rest, love. Rest in My arms. We will get through this together.”

Let Go of the Questions and Rest in the Mystery

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.”
Proverbs 3:5, KJV

There are answers your natural mind cannot grasp  answers that only hope, not intellect, can carry.
God’s wisdom is not fast food.
It is a deep well. A hidden treasure that must be unearthed slowly, gently, cup by cup.

He says, “My answers will be unveiled as your heart finds hope in Me.”

You don’t have to force understanding.
You simply have to stay near to the One who understands all things.
Let intimacy with Him become your place of clarity and strength. The enemy is already defeated. Your circumstances are not the final word.
He is.

Intimacy is the Precursor to Ministry

“Out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.”
John 7:38, KJV

Your ministry does not begin with a microphone  it begins in the secret place.
God doesn’t want you serving from exhaustion, fear, or pressure. He wants you overflowing from time spent with Him.

He says:
“Unless you are overflowing, you will depend on your own strength and knowledge… I have a better way.”

That better way is abiding.
When you saturate yourself in His love, you begin to carry His fragrance everywhere you go. When you make intimacy your foundation, ministry becomes a byproduct, not a burden.

The more you love Him, the more you’ll love others. The more you're filled with His Spirit, the more your life becomes a river of mercy for the broken, the lost, and the hurting.

Freely Pour Out the Mercy You’ve Received

“Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.”
Matthew 5:7, KJV

Never forget where He brought you from. Never forget the mercy He poured out on you.
Now, He’s calling you to freely give what you’ve freely received.

God says:
“Be merciful to the guilty, gracious to the unworthy, and kind to those who mistreat you.”

That’s not weakness  it’s power. That’s not compromise  it’s Christ.
You were not saved to sit still  you were saved to release His presence everywhere you go.

Your life carries a harvest within it  sons and daughters who will rise up because you were willing to love beyond comfort, to extend mercy without judgment, to shine light where others saw only darkness.

The Gospel of Salvation

Everything starts with this: a heart surrendered to Jesus Christ.
If you’ve never accepted Him as your Lord and Savior, the invitation is open. He wants to walk with you through your pain, fill you with His Spirit, and overflow your life with mercy, purpose, and joy.

All have sinned.
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”
Romans 3:23, KJV

Sin brings death.
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Romans 6:23, KJV

Jesus paid the price.
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Romans 5:8, KJV

Confess and believe.
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
Romans 10:9, KJV

Come to Him. Be filled. And become a vessel of the same mercy that saved you.

Conclusion

You were never meant to live empty.
You were never meant to serve dry.
You were created to be filled, healed, restored, and then poured out.

Let God walk with you through your pain. Let Him saturate your soul with His presence. Let your life drip with mercy.

This is the rhythm of heaven: intimacy, overflow, ministry.

And it all begins with one word:

Come.
