Remember Who You Are: Living From Your True Identity in Christ
“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”
— Galatians 2:20, KJV
There is a constant battle over your identity. The enemy wants you to forget who you are so you will live beneath your calling. But the voice of the Lord cuts through confusion and declares:
“Remember who you are.”
You are not just saved.
You are not just forgiven.
You are not just surviving.
You are a child of God, the bride of Christ, the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit, and a partner in God’s redemptive plan.
This is not wishful thinking. It is your spiritual reality.
You Are His Chosen, Anointed, Empowered
“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people…”
— 1 Peter 2:9, KJV
God doesn’t merely tolerate you He chose you.
You are His beloved child and His radiant bride. You have not been left to figure things out alone you’ve been filled with His Spirit and clothed in His power.
The Lord says:
“You are the mouthpiece I speak through. You are the hands I heal through.”
You are not weak or unworthy you are His vessel, carrying His glory into the world.
All of heaven takes notice when you speak His name.
And all of hell trembles when you walk in your authority.
Christ Lives Through You
“And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.”
— Romans 8:10, KJV
You no longer live by your old identity. That version of you was crucified with Christ.
Now, the Anointed One lives His life through you. You are in union with God not occasionally, but constantly. Every moment. Every breath.
You are not a beggar hoping for crumbs of grace. You are a co-heir with Christ (Romans 8:17), empowered by the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead (Romans 8:11).
You are not trying to become powerful you already are, because He is in you.
You Were Worth the Price of Sacred Blood
“For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.”
— 1 Corinthians 6:20, KJV
You may feel unworthy at times, but never forget:
You were worth the blood of Jesus.
That was the cost to bring you back. That was the price Heaven paid.
Not because you were perfect, but because you were His.
You are not defined by failure. You are defined by the finished work of the cross.
God’s divine passion restores your soul, breathes life into your purpose, and causes you to roar with confidence. Not arrogance, but holy boldness the kind that comes from knowing who your Father is and what you carry.
A Call to Walk in Your Identity
It’s time to stop shrinking.
It’s time to stop questioning whether you matter.
The Kingdom needs you. Your voice. Your gifts. Your obedience. Your faith.
God says:
“Stand tall. Be confident and humble. Remember who you are.”
Live from the union you already have with Christ. Don’t let your past speak louder than your Savior. Don’t let your insecurities silence your assignment.
Let His Spirit lead. Let His presence define. Let His Word remind you again and again:
You are mine. You are powerful. You are loved. You are called.
The Gospel of Salvation
If you have never experienced the transformation that comes through knowing Jesus Christ, today is the day. The life you were created for begins with surrender. He gave everything to make you His.
All have sinned.
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”
— Romans 3:23, KJV
Sin brings death.
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
— Romans 6:23, KJV
Jesus paid the price.
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
— Romans 5:8, KJV
Confess and believe.
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
— Romans 10:9, KJV
Receive Him now. Be restored. Be renewed.
And remember who you are.
Conclusion
You were not made to blend in you were made to carry glory.
You are the voice, the vessel, the lightbearer, the healed, the empowered, the beloved.
Let the roar of identity rise again in your soul.
Stand tall in your calling.
Walk boldly in your union.
And never forget…
You are His.
