The Lion of Judah
I. The Illusion of Peace in a Shaking World
In a world where geopolitical alliances form and collapse overnight, humanity still clings to peace plans crafted by governments and kings who do not seek the counsel of God. These peace treaties and accords are destined to fail. They are not authored by the Prince of Peace, but by the pride of man.
“For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.” 1 Thessalonians 5:3 (KJV)
The crescendo of history is upon us. The world is accelerating toward a climax ordained by the Most High, yet most remain unaware, lulled by false assurances. Wars, rumors of war, and unprecedented global tension mark our generation. From Jerusalem to Geneva, from Tehran to Washington D.C., world leaders claim to secure peace, but they do so without Him. Their efforts, absent of Christ, will usher in the very destruction they pretend to prevent.
“There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.” Isaiah 57:21 (KJV)
II. Tribulation Begins: The Terror of the Unknown
We are now in the early throes of tribulation. The signs are not merely prophetic hints but open declarations. Atmospheric disturbances, the rise of unidentified aerial phenomena, and new weapon technologies provoke global fear and spiritual disquiet. These "objects unknown" unsettle nations because they are beyond human comprehension or control.
But let the people of God not be shaken.
“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea.” Psalm 46:1–2 (KJV)
The weapons of men, nuclear arms, AI-driven defense systems, surveillance satellites, are powerless before the sovereignty of the Almighty. No arsenal formed against His will can stand. His wisdom exceeds all intelligence agencies. His sovereignty crushes all global dominions.
“No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.” Isaiah 54:17 (KJV)
III. The Bride in the Midst of Wrath
When terror reigns, when the hearts of men fail them for fear, the true Bride of Christ will not be moved. The Lord has promised to come for His Bride in the very hour when destruction swells. He will not forget those sealed with His Spirit.
“And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.” Luke 21:27–28 (KJV)
This is not the hour for slumber. This is the hour to be found with oil in our lamps, our garments washed, and our eyes fixed on the returning King. For the Lion of Judah comes, not in silence, but with a sword.
“And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.” Revelation 19:15 (KJV)
IV. The Heart of God: His Peace Plan Is Everlasting
The plans of man are temporal. The peace of man is frail. But God declares that His plan is everlasting. His peace is not a treaty, but a Person. Jesus Christ is both the Author and Finisher of the divine peace plan, written in His blood, sealed by His Spirit, and available to all who humble themselves and seek Him.
“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.” Isaiah 26:3 (KJV)
“And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:7 (KJV)
But this peace is not for the proud. It is not for those who love their sin. God’s mercy extends to the humble, the broken, the repentant. His grace is wide, but not cheap. It cost the life of the spotless Lamb.
V. The Stubborn Will See His Wrath
To those who persist in pride, clinging to their sin while claiming His name, a dreadful fate awaits. The Lord makes a terrifying distinction, His grace saves many, but not all. Those who walk in rebellion while wearing the mask of religion will be stripped bare in the hour of judgment.
“Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 7:21 (KJV)
“Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.” Ezekiel 18:4 (KJV)
Let every man and woman examine their hearts. Let every proud tower be brought low. The day of wrath is no longer distant. The Lord has declared: Tribulation is now.
VI. Repent. The Day of Salvation Is Today.
Now is the time to be wise, not by the metrics of the world, but by the fear of the Lord. Repentance is not merely remorse. It is a turning away from self and sin, and a returning to the living God. He calls us to abandon our ways and seek His.
“Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.” Isaiah 55:6–7 (KJV)
God’s time clock does not run on human timelines. His appointed moments are not governed by election cycles, technological advances, or economic forecasts. His timing is perfect, and His judgment will not delay.
“Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” 2 Corinthians 6:2 (KJV)
Let no one delay. Do not let procrastination be the chain that drags your soul into the pit. Today is the day. Now is the hour.
VII. The Gospel of Salvation
All have sinned.
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”
Romans 3:23 (KJV)
Sin brings death.
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Romans 6:23 (KJV)
Jesus paid the price.
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Romans 5:8 (KJV)
Confess and believe.
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
Romans 10:9 (KJV)
Salvation is not earned. It is not inherited. It is received by grace through faith. Confess your sin. Believe upon Jesus Christ. Call upon Him now while there is yet time.
VIII. Conclusion: The Light Shines in Darkness
The Lion of Judah comes with a sword. He is not returning as a lamb, but as King and Judge. His light will pierce the darkness. His truth will break the chains of deception. And His Bride, those who endure, those who walk in holiness, those who remain faithful, will be gathered to Him.
“I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” John 8:12 (KJV)
May you walk in the light while there is light. May you repent while the door is open. May you trust not in your own wisdom, but in the wisdom of God. And may you be found ready, spotless, watching, and waiting for the return of the King.
For tribulation is now.
And the trumpet is about to sound.
