Not Of This World
I. The Peace of the Holy Spirit in a Shaking World
The fruit of the Holy Spirit is not reserved for a time of ease but meant to anchor the saints during tribulation. The Lord reminds His people that peace, joy, and love are not fleeting emotions but spiritual realities for those walking in step with His Spirit.
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law." —Galatians 5:22–23 (KJV)
We live in a world where global economies are collapsing, trust in governments is deteriorating, and violence is increasing. Yet, amid this upheaval, God is calling His children to rest in His control and to trust in His divine sovereignty.
"Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee." —Isaiah 26:3 (KJV)
II. The Kingdom Above All Kingdoms
As corruption spreads through nations and as we witness the unraveling of governmental systems worldwide, we must remember that God is not taken by surprise. His kingdom is not of this world and will not be shaken.
"And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever." —Daniel 2:44 (KJV)
The people of God are to rise, to shine, and to live by the Spirit. The oil of the Holy Spirit is being poured out on hearts that long for righteousness and have been emptied of greed and pride.
"Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee." —Isaiah 60:1 (KJV)
III. The Role of the Remnant: Speak Truth and Live Holy
As darkness increases, so must the boldness of the saints. God promises to give wisdom, courage, and even the words to speak to those willing to be His voice. This is a time for holy urgency.
"But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear." —1 Peter 3:15 (KJV)
Those who choose Him over wealth, fame, and self-fulfillment are being prepared as His bride. They live not by what the world can offer but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.
"Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me." —Matthew 16:24 (KJV)
IV. Seek and You Shall Find: The Path of Understanding
God promises wisdom and insight to those who diligently seek Him. Just as a miner searches for gold, so too must we hunger for His understanding. These are not days for passive Christianity but for burning lamps filled with the oil of His Spirit.
"If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him." —James 1:5 (KJV)
V. The Call to Salvation: Time is Short
The Lord assures His people that wrath is not destined for them but for those who reject His mercy. Suspicion, confusion, and deception will continue until the Lord appears to gather His bride. There is no more time to delay.
"For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ." —1 Thessalonians 5:9 (KJV)
"Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation." —2 Corinthians 6:2b (KJV)
VI. A Call to Repentance
It is not enough to admire God's goodness from afar. We must respond. The invitation is clear: lay down selfish ambition, renounce the fleeting pleasures of this world, and receive the love of the Father.
"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." —2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV)
VII. The Gospel Invitation
All have sinned.
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." —Romans 3:23 (KJV)
Sin brings death.
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." —Romans 6:23 (KJV)
Jesus paid the price.
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." —Romans 5:8 (KJV)
Confess and believe.
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." —Romans 10:9 (KJV)
Conclusion
Let the Church arise. Let the Bride prepare. Let the seeker run to the Father. For the King is coming, and His reward is with Him. Today is the day to walk in light, to speak boldly, and to shine like a lamp filled with oil. The world is groaning for redemption, but God’s remnant is rising. You are called to be part of that light.
Will you rise?
