The Crowning
I. A Nation That Forgot God
The Word of God warns repeatedly of the fate of any people who forget Him. History proves that prosperity, unmoored from humility and righteousness, breeds pride and apostasy. A nation that once sought the Lord in time of need often forgets Him in times of abundance.
"The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God."Psalm 9:17 (KJV)
Self-righteousness, envy, and pride are not just personal sins, they become collective, cultural iniquities that provoke judgment. The wages of sin remain unchanged: death, destruction, and desolation.
"The wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."Romans 6:23 (KJV)
Modern nations, once rooted in biblical principles, have exalted self over sanctification, rights over righteousness, and pride over repentance. The fall of such systems echoes prophetic warnings throughout Scripture.
II. The Beauty and Holiness of the Kingdom
Heaven is not simply an escape from judgment, it is a realm of holiness, order, peace, and beauty. Only that which is washed, sanctified, and made new may enter.
"And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life."Revelation 21:27 (KJV)
The Kingdom of God magnifies holiness. There is no place for compromise. His standard remains perfection, not in our own strength but by the imputed righteousness of Christ.
"Be ye holy; for I am holy." 1 Peter 1:16 (KJV)
III. The King of Glory Descends
In contrast to the chaos of the world, the return of Christ is a majestic rescue. He comes not in secret shame but in power and glory, surrounded by the host of heaven.
"Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in."Psalm 24:7 (KJV)
"For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first."1 Thessalonians 4:16 (KJV)
The saints, His bride, are from every tribe, nation, and tongue. They are unified not by ethnicity, geography, or politics, but by faith in the risen Christ.
"After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb."Revelation 7:9 (KJV)
IV. The Appointed Time Is Now
There is no time left for delay. The Lord has long warned. The signs have intensified. What remains is the call to readiness, holiness, and surrender.
"And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed."Romans 13:11 (KJV)
Those who have died to the world by faith in His Word are already citizens of another Kingdom. Their sorrow and grief are being exchanged for joy and anticipation.
"Ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice."John 16:22 (KJV)
V. Birth, Crowning, and Departure
The language of Scripture speaks of birthing pains before the new day dawns. These pains are not purposeless, they bring forth glory. The crowning of the Bride signifies not only union but inheritance, authority, and eternal identity.
"For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared withthe glory which shall be revealed in us." Romans 8:18 (KJV)
On that day, light will surround the Bride. This is not metaphor, it is the fulfillment of divine promise. The world will face wrath. But the redeemed will be gathered to Him.
"God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ."1 Thessalonians 5:9 (KJV)
VI. Keep Praying Until the Trumpet Sounds
The Bride is to watch, wait, and intercede. Even as departure nears, prayer remains a weapon and witness.
"Pray without ceasing." 1 Thessalonians 5:17 (KJV)
"Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escapeall these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man." Luke 21:36 (KJV)
The trumpet will sound. The King of Glory will come. The Bride will rise.
"Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds,to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord." 1 Thessalonians 4:17 (KJV)
VII. A Call to Repentance and Salvation
The door is still open, but soon it will shut. Repentance is not a suggestion, it is a command. Delay is deadly.
All have sinned.
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."
Romans 3:23 (KJV)
Sin brings death.
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
Romans 6:23 (KJV)
Jesus paid the price.
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
Romans 5:8 (KJV)
Confess and believe.
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."
Romans 10:9 (KJV)
Conclusion
The wedding day approaches. The Bride is being adorned. The King is at the door. Let every heart examine itself. Let every lamp be filled with oil. Let every voice cry out:
Come, Lord Jesus. Come quickly.
"And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come..." Revelation 22:17 (KJV)
