The Roar of the King
I. The King of Judgment and Mercy
The thunderous voice of the Lord echoes across the heavens and the earth, calling the world to attention. He is both Judge and Redeemer, mighty in power, rich in mercy. The same God who formed the heavens (Isaiah 45:12) also reaches down with compassion to revive the weary soul.
“For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; he will save us.” Isaiah 33:22 (KJV)
Yet though He pours out His Spirit upon all flesh (Joel 2:28), many remain blind and deaf to His voice. The call of the Spirit is drowned out by the noise of a world intoxicated with its own wisdom.
II. A Generation in a Coma of Ignorance
The tragedy of our time is not the absence of truth, but the rejection of it. We live in an age where access to Scripture is unprecedented, yet spiritual ignorance abounds. The Lord warns of a people who lean on their own understanding, forsaking His counsel for the fleeting wisdom of men and machines.
“Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!” Isaiah 5:21 (KJV)
“Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.” Romans 1:22 (KJV)
Artificial intelligence, search engines, and self-help philosophies have become modern altars of inquiry, while the true and living Word of God gathers dust on countless shelves. The Lord has given us a treasure, preserved through the ages, the Holy Bible. In it are the keys of prophecy, love, redemption, and warning.
“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” Psalm 119:105 (KJV)
III. The Bible: The Living Treasure of Truth
God's Word is not outdated, irrelevant, or powerless. It is alive, eternal, and sharper than any two-edged sword. It is the guidepost for a lost generation, the love letter of a Father to His children, and the final authority in a world spinning in confusion.
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.” 2 Timothy 3:16 (KJV)
Yet how many bypass the voice of God to seek counsel from mere mortals or emotionless algorithms? The voice of the Shepherd is found in His Word, but it must be sought.
“And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:13 (KJV)
IV. A Final Call Before the Door Shuts
Time is short. The door of grace remains open, but not indefinitely. Just as in the days of Noah, the door will one day close, and regret will echo in the hearts of those who mocked the warnings.
“When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door... ye shall begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us.” Luke 13:25 (KJV)
This is a time of awakening. Those who see the encroaching darkness, who grieve the evil in the land, are invited to drink from the fountain of living water and be refreshed.
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28 (KJV)
V. The Sword That Divides
Christ’s sword is not for physical battle but for spiritual separation. It divides light from darkness, truth from deception, the faithful bride from the deceived crowd. Not all who claim His name walk in His ways.
“Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 7:21 (KJV)
Those who follow the wide road of cultural Christianity, void of holiness, repentance, and obedience, will find themselves outside the narrow gate. Christ will say, “I never knew you” (Matthew 7:23). The sheep who know their Shepherd walk in surrender, not in name only.
VI. The Coming Disaster and the Only Shelter
The prophetic warnings are intensifying. Earthquakes rumble, wars rage, technology advances toward global control, and humanity drifts further into moral rebellion. The door of judgment swings on its hinges, and only one refuge remains: Jesus Christ, the Messiah.
“For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me.” Psalm 27:5 (KJV)
To reject His shelter is to be exposed to the storm that is soon to fall upon the earth.
VII. A Call to Repentance
Beloved reader, this is not the hour to delay. The Lord is calling, will you answer? Repent of your sin. Lay down your idols. Turn from the world and cling to the cross. Let Him awaken your spirit. Let Him resuscitate your soul. Do not wait for the cries of regret when the door shuts.
“Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near.” Isaiah 55:6 (KJV)
VIII. The Gospel of Salvation
All have sinned.
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”
Romans 3:23 (KJV)
Sin brings death.
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Romans 6:23 (KJV)
Jesus paid the price.
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Romans 5:8 (KJV)
Confess and believe.
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
Romans 10:9 (KJV)
IX. Conclusion
The roar of the King is not merely a sound of judgment. It is a cry of mercy. A final call. A holy alarm in the spirit. Return to the Word. Anchor your soul in Christ. Be found among His Bride. Let your lamp be filled with oil. For the cry is rising in the heavens.
He is coming.
Will you be ready?
Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
Revelation 22:20 (KJV)
